Adjustment of responsibilities of Sichuan Provincial Water Resources Department

(a) to cancel the administrative examination and approval items that have been announced by the provincial government.

(two) to cancel the responsibility of guiding the diversified operation of the water conservancy industry.

(3) Transfer the resettlement responsibility of large and medium-sized water conservancy projects that have been built and under construction before September/KLOC-0, 2006 to the Provincial Bureau of Poverty Alleviation and Immigration.

(4) Strengthen the conservation, protection and rational allocation of water resources, ensure the safety of urban and rural water supply, and promote the sustainable utilization of water resources. Strengthen flood control and drought relief, and reduce losses caused by floods and droughts.

(five) to strengthen the supervision and law enforcement of bidding activities of water conservancy construction projects.
