Generally speaking, Baotou is more developed and has a more complete social security mechanism. I had basically never heard of Hohhot before coming to Inner Mongolia. My colleagues around me have never heard of the city Hohhot. If it weren’t for the capital, I wouldn’t have paid much attention to it. Baotou is famous mainly due to its complete heavy industry system and relatively advanced urban construction concepts. The development of the city cannot be separated from enterprises. In addition, Baotou is a city where state-owned enterprises in Inner Mongolia gather together, which has contributed a lot to the government's finances. Of course, there are also many private enterprises in Baotou, and many parks have been built. In addition, Baotou is a multi-ethnic, multi-province and city-wide population. The city is an immigrant-oriented city, and its concept of development is not too closed-minded. In terms of transportation system, Baotou is even better. I have long heard that Baotou is one of the first civilized cities in Inner Mongolia, and it is also a city that has passed the civilized city assessment and acceptance for many years in a row. In addition, the green area is definitely the largest in Inner Mongolia. It is very suitable for people to live. The locals are also hospitable, honest and simple. I like Baotou very much, especially the Donghe District with local folk customs. I hope to go to Baotou next time.
