I want to take a train from Linfen to Urumqi. Which train should I take? How many stops do I need to make? Urgent, urgent. Thank you
People from southern Shanxi who come to Xinjiang basically change trains in Xi'an. It is more convenient to buy tickets in Zhengzhou, but it is too far.
I am from Shanxi, and I am in Urumqi. According to my experience in buying tickets for several years, the best way to buy tickets from Xi'an to Urumqi is the T197 hard sleeper (there are reserved hard seats and hard sleepers in Xi'an), followed by 1043, and then T193 (Xi'an has a small number of hard seats and hard sleepers reserved). Other buses only have standing tickets.
You can only choose 2535 from Linfen to Xi'an. There are not so many people in 1485 and 2023, and you can't even squeeze in. Fortunately, you can still buy reserved tickets in Linfen for 2535 (there are pre-booked tickets in Linfen) Stay in sleeper berth). It was 6:30 in the morning to take 2535 to Xi'an, and we had to wait a day for a bus to Urumqi. When exiting the station, you may hear someone shouting that T69 (Beijing West-Urumqi) can enter the station and get on the train without a ticket - you can enter the station and get on the train, but there will be no seats on T69 all the way to Xinjiang...as long as you are not in time During the Spring Festival, it is not difficult to buy tickets from Xi'an to Urumqi. Sometimes you can buy a sleeper ticket for 1043 on the same day.
1043 has been unable to buy off-site tickets in Shanxi, and cannot be found in the ticketing system. It can only be purchased in Xi'an. I don’t know what to do now, so I might as well try it at Linfen Station.
Having said so much, I hope it can be of some help to you during your trip.
I wish you a pleasant journey and a successful arrival in Urumqi!
