Where did the Three Gorges immigrants go?

The Three Gorges migrants who were forced to move have been to many different places, including:

1. Other areas in Hubei Province: become relocation places in Hubei Province, including Jingzhou, Xianning, Huangshi, Suizhou and Enshi.

2. Areas along the Yangtze River: Many people choose to move to other areas along the Yangtze River, such as Wuhu, Anqing and Xuancheng in Anhui, Nanchang and Shangrao in Jiangxi.

3. Southwest China: Other choices are to go to southwest China such as Sichuan Province and Guizhou Province, such as Chongqing, Yibin City and Zunyi City.

4. East China: Some people choose to go to East China where economic conditions are relatively good, such as Hangzhou, Wenzhou and Shanghai in Zhejiang Province.

Generally speaking, the destinations of Three Gorges immigrants are mainly concentrated in Hubei Province, provinces and cities along the Yangtze River and East China.
