Will flights in Mexico check visas?

All foreigners arriving at Mexican ports must be inspected, and Mexican immigration officials will decide whether to allow entry according to Mexican laws and regulations. Foreigners who only hold passports and visas without supporting documents (such as invitations, return air tickets, hotel orders, bank cards or cash) to prove their entry purpose will not be allowed to enter the country.

At the first inspection, foreigners are required to show their passports, visas and entry cards (FMM, Forma Migratoria multi ple) pre-filled on the plane or after arriving at the port. Immigration officials decide whether to allow direct entry or request a second inspection by reviewing the above documents and on-site inquiries.

In practice, it often happens that Mexican immigration officials randomly conduct a second inspection on a large number of foreigners on the same flight without the first inspection. This is a law enforcement act by Mexican immigration officials. It is suggested to actively cooperate and maintain rationality and respect. Entering the second inspection does not mean that the parties will have problems or will be refused entry. In practice, most China citizens who pass the second inspection will eventually be released, and only a few will be refused entry.
