Have a technical job offer in New Zealand or currently work in New Zealand (50 points);
Occupation is ANZ SCO 1/2/3, and it meets the average salary threshold (current hourly salary is 23.49 NZD or above, or equivalent annual salary);
Any occupation on ANZ SCO list, or any occupation not on ANZ SCO list, must meet the requirement of average wage 1.5 times (the current hourly wage is NZD 35.24 or above, or equivalent annual salary).
Second, the technical employment points.
Work belongs to the field of absolute skill shortage (10);
Working outside Auckland (30 points);
The salary is twice or more than the average salary in New Zealand (the current hourly salary is 46.98 New Zealand dollars or more, or equivalent annual salary) (20 points).
Third, relevant work experience
At least 2 years relevant working experience (10);
4 years relevant working experience (20 points);
Relevant working experience for 6 years (30 points);
8 years relevant working experience (40 points);
Relevant working experience 10 year (50 points).
Fourth, New Zealand's local work experience adds points.
Relevant working experience in New Zealand 12 months or more (10 score);
In the field of absolute skill shortage, relevant working experience is 2 to 5 years (10);
In the field of absolute skill shortage, relevant working experience is 6 years or above (15 points).
5. Recognized academic qualifications
NZQ f Level 4-Level 6 (such as industry qualification and diploma) or Level3 degree exempted by LQEA (40 points);
Nzq f level 7–8 (such as bachelor degree and honorary bachelor degree) (50 points);
NZQ f Level 9-–level 10 (such as master's degree and doctor's degree) (70 points).
Sixth, academic qualifications add points.
Two-year full-time study experience in New Zealand, and completed the certified bachelor's degree (NZQ FLevel7)( 10);
New Zealand post-baccalaureate diploma (NZQ Flevel8-10) with one-year full-time study experience in New Zealand and completed certification (10 score);
Two years of full-time study experience in New Zealand, and completion of the certified New Zealand Bachelor's Degree (NZQFLevel 9-10) (15 points);
Seven, age
Age 20 to 39 (30 points);
40 to 44 years old (20 points);
Age 45 to 49 (10);
Age 50 to 55 years old (5 points).

For overseas applicants, even if they meet the scoring requirements of New Zealand Skilled Immigrants 160, they usually get a job visa in New Zealand within 9- 12 months if they have no job in New Zealand and have not studied in New Zealand for two years or more to obtain a master's or doctoral degree.
