Why is Britain the ancestor of America?

Because America is a British colony. Many British people go to America to look for gold. There are also many exiled British prisoners. These people are gradually becoming Americans. In fact, Native Americans are Indians. So it can be said that there are only a few indigenous people in the United States now. Most of them are outsiders. And there are many people from England, so it really makes sense to say that Britain is the ancestor of the United States.
