How should Korean immigrants manage medical insurance?

There are two kinds of medical insurance in Korea.

First, the country's "national health insurance", long-term foreigners can join after 90 days of entry. Just apply to the national health management company.

If you have a job, the company will join the four major insurances, one of which is medical insurance, with half for the company and half for the individual. This is called "medical insurance for people in the workplace". If you don't have a job, according to the calculation of "medical insurance for regional participants", it is about 80,000 to 90,000 won. If you are married, your husband or wife has joined the "Workers' Medical Insurance" as a family member, and you can save money with him.

The second is private insurance, which belongs to major insurance companies. There are many goods, so shop around.
