William Richard Tolbert's Early Experience

Tolbert was born in Bensonville in 19 13. He is a descendant of black immigrants. His ancestors moved to Liberia from South Carolina in the United States on 1878. The Tolbert family is a big Liberian family. 1934, Tolbert graduated from Liberian University and later married Victoria David. 1952, became the vice president. From 65438 to 0965, he became the president of the Baptist World Union. 197 1 year, after the death of President William Tubman, he was elected as the 20th President of Liberia.
