What is Shunba?

Ningwei Town Shunba Village, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province

Shunba Village is located in the northernmost part of Ningwei Town. This is a reclamation area in the 1970s, with 7,000 mu of Xinxu in the east, Qianjiang Higher Education Park in the south, 7302 1 troops in the west and Qiantang River in the north. Shunba Village Committee was established in Ningwei Town on 1984, which belongs to Ningwei Township and now belongs to Ningwei Town.

By the end of 2004, there were 545 households with cultivated land 1.498 mu, population 1.485 people and 1.6 villagers' groups. In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the village was 202.62 million yuan, and the per capita income of agricultural population was 1.2868 yuan.

Shunba Village was reclaimed from 1980 by immigrants from Ningwei Commune 10 production brigade and established as a new village. In the early stage of agricultural production, mulberry planting and sericulture were the main methods. After nearly 20 years of development, the current planting industry is mainly to develop seedlings and vegetables and vigorously develop the tertiary industry.

The industries in this village are mainly leading enterprises such as Hangzhou David Pavement Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Wanhua Bearing Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Guan Hao Automobile Industry Company, which has promoted the development of more than 10 mechanical hardware enterprises.

The construction of public welfare undertakings in the village is booming. The roads in the village are all paved with asphalt, and the channels are three-sided. All the farmers in the village have installed their own cable TV, and more than 90% farmers have installed telephones.

The village 1984 and 1985 were called sericulture village in  for two consecutive years, 1999 was named as a model village of villagers' autonomy in Xiaoshan city, 200 1 year was named as a civilized village and a safe and civilized village in Xiaoshan district, 2002 was named as a health village in Xiaoshan district, and 2003-2000.
