The Hong Kong and Macao Pass, commonly known as the Two-way Permit, is a travel document issued by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Exit-Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security to mainland residents in China for private travel, visiting relatives, business, training, employment, study abroad and other non-official activities.

For the first time, you must submit your application in person to the exit-entry administration office where your account is located. The application materials include: the original and photocopy of the resident ID card and household registration book (copied on A4 paper, which can be copied on the same paper), the application form for entry and exit documents of China citizens, and two 2-inch light-colored photos (which can also be taken at their own expense), respectively, to apply for endorsements to and from Hong Kong and Macao. If you only go to Hong Kong, you have to apply for a Hong Kong endorsement; if you only go to Macao, you have to apply for a Macao endorsement. If you go to Hong Kong and Macao, you must apply for both endorsements.

The processing time limit is 10 working days from the date of acceptance (the first or non-first application). But the mailing day (usually about five days) and holidays are not included.

The cost of the Travel Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao is 100 yuan each; One round-trip endorsement, each time in 20 yuan, two round-trip endorsements, each time in 40 yuan, plus an endorsement fee of 20 yuan.

Pay special attention to the validity of the pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao within 6 months (3 months in some cities) or the blank endorsement page is not enough. You must apply for a new travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao according to the first application procedure, and apply for an endorsement at the same time.

Taiwan Pass (a pass for mainland residents to travel to and from Taiwan Province Province) is a travel pass issued by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Public Security for mainland residents to travel to Taiwan Province Province. When entering Taiwan Province Province, they will be checked together with the entry and exit cards issued by the Ministry of Interior and the Immigration Department of Taiwan Province Province. The application is:

(1) Submit the Completed Application Form for Travel Permit for Mainland Residents to and from Taiwan Province Province with the applicant's photo attached (see standard). When applying for the first time, you should submit two additional photos of the same specifications.

(2) Submit the original of the applicant's resident identity card and household registration book, and submit a copy. /kloc-applicants under the age of 0/6 only need to submit the household registration book.

(3) Submit a list of group travel permits issued by group travel agencies with the qualification to travel to Taiwan.

(4) The application certificate and endorsement of the tour group leader shall be submitted by the tour group agency to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ where the tour group is located, and the official letter issued by the tour group agency and the tour leader's permit to Taiwan shall be submitted for inspection. If the application is made in a different place, it shall be handled by the local public security organ after the examination and approval authority sends a letter to verify the relevant situation.

(6) If the holder loses his/her certificate, he/she shall apply to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ at the municipality directly under the Central Government or the prefecture (city) level where the application was originally accepted, and submit the certificate issued by the public security organ at the place where the certificate was reported lost.

(7) If the validity period of the certificate is less than 6 months or the validity period of the endorsement applied for exceeds the validity period of the certificate, if the internal pages of the certificate are used up and the certificate is damaged, an application for replacement shall be submitted; if the certificate is damaged, a description of the damage of the certificate shall be submitted.

(8) I apply to the entry-exit administration department, but the applicant is under the age of 16 and accompanied by a guardian or agent, and submit the original and photocopy of the guardian's ID card and the corresponding materials that can prove the guardianship relationship; Applicants who have reached the age of 70 may entrust their immediate family members or other guardians to act as agents, and must submit the power of attorney and the original and photocopy of the agent's ID card.
