How to apply for a Sri Lankan visa?

Select visa category

If you apply for a tourist visa for yourself, select "Apply for an individual" in the column of "Travel ETA", and if you apply for others, use "Apply for a third party".

Information filling

All items marked with red * on the page are required. Please fill in all the information in English. If you don't know how to write it, you can use the translation tool to fill it in.

1. Personal information and passport information:

Fill in the surname, first name, title (Mr., Ms. or Ms.), date of birth, gender, nationality, country of birth, passport number, date of passport issuance and effective date.

2. Information of accompanying children

At present, the visa-free fee for children under 12. /kloc-If children under 0/6 need to apply for a passport separately, they won't fill it here.

If you need to add child information, please check the "Enable" option first, and then fill in the child's last name, first name, birthday, gender and relationship with you. Please don't forget to click the "Add Children" button to add information to the list. If there are multiple children, just add them repeatedly.

3. Travel information

Fill in the expected arrival date, the purpose of travel (such as travel, business or visiting relatives), and the following address information. Please fill in your domestic address except "Sri Lanka address".

4. Verification code

The verification code at the bottom is usually some words or numbers. Make sure that the control is loaded before clicking the table above. Otherwise, you have to refresh the page and load this control, and all the information you have worked so hard to fill in will be gone.

About payment

Under normal circumstances, the payment page will be slow, so wait patiently for the page to load. It is best to pay during working hours on weekdays, which will help improve the success rate. Payment options include VISA MASTER, American Express, etc. Click the small icon to enter the corresponding form, and enter the card number, expiration date and other information. Wait for the mail to arrive after the payment is over. It is best to use a foreign mailbox to receive mail conveniently. It is said that QQ mailbox will sometimes not be received.

Electronic visa ETA

There will be two emails in the mailbox. The first one is the email that the system confirms your successful application for deduction, and the second one is ETA e-visa. After the payment is completed, the first email will be received after about 5 minutes, and the second email will be received after 10 minutes. The whole process is very fast and convenient. Print out the second email and you can leave the country with your passport and ticket. At present, most airports in China have verified the existence of ETA.
