Architectural landscape of Nanxi village

Although Nanxi village is a secluded place in the mountains, it is the throat of Fujian and Zhejiang, with dangerous rocks piled up and natural graben around the mountains. In the year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1762), Fu Ning recorded Nanxi Shimen. In ancient times, a pass was set at the Shimen, blocking the end of the stream and cutting it to get in.

Shouning County Records contains Nanxifu, Dipu and Shecang. The delivery of shops (for the delivery of documents), houses (for the accommodation of county officials) and social warehouses (for the storage of grain) shows that the village was very prosperous at that time. The main social temples are: Naidian Palace, Shangyao Temple, Tianwang Hall, Bajiao Pavilion, Sima Palace, Xiandian Hall and Li Ancestral Hall.

1962 xietan town (former) highway opened to traffic. 1984, the first farmer station appeared in China, that is, Nanxi Passenger Station.
