How to immigrate to Switzerland
There are usually two ways to create a company:
Investors under the age of 55 have invested more than 500,000 Swiss francs in a small and medium-sized company in the selected state. These funds must be able to create economic added value and provide employment opportunities for local people. You must live in Switzerland for most of the year. The wages of entrepreneurs and employees should not be lower than the average minimum wage in Switzerland. The annual pre-tax income of an enterprise should reach 200,000 Swiss francs. The foreign employees employed must have special skills that the Swiss do not have, and the proportion of foreign employees and Swiss employees must be balanced;
Although Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, it is a special economic zone in Europe. According to the AFMP between the EU and Switzerland, EU passport holders can freely reside, live and work in Switzerland.
First, get your passport.
As a member of the European Union, citizens of Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary can enter Switzerland with valid passports or identity cards.
For most friends, it is very difficult to immigrate to Switzerland directly through the above methods, but it is much easier to enter Switzerland if you get an EU passport first.
Second, find a job.
If there is no reasonable reason, staying in Switzerland is a waste of time.
As a member of the European Union, Czech/Romanian citizens can enter Switzerland with valid passports or identity cards. After entering Switzerland 14 days, you can live, live and work in Switzerland for 90 days after registering with relevant local authorities. If you are looking for a job opportunity in Switzerland, but there is no result within 90 days, you can apply to the local immigration office to extend your stay for another 90 days. The extension can be up to one year.
So finding a job is the key. There are several ways to find a job: headhunting, consulting company, acquaintance introduction and enterprise recruitment.
Headhunters and consulting companies, some professional companies and large companies have cooperative relations. Job seekers can be sent to employers through consulting companies, but they need to pay a certain fee, but many of them are "second-hand dealers". Of course, some conscience companies will transfer to a second company after the client's contract expires.
Enterprise recruitment, which is a common form, mainly depends on whether the applicant's own conditions are hard enough, and the final power is in the hands of the hiring manager, which is very lucky. There are so many people who want to stay in Switzerland, and none of them is outstanding in famous European universities. And this recruitment process may last for several months or even half a year.
The introduction of acquaintances may be more reliable, and many companies also have internal recommendation systems. If no one wants a position, acquaintances recommend it and the background matches, the success rate will be much higher. Coupled with the relationship with the hiring manager, it goes without saying.
It should be noted that it takes 10 years for non-EU people to obtain a green card, and 10 years for a green card to obtain nationality. Citizens of 24 EU countries who have lived in Switzerland for more than 5 years can apply for permanent residency in Switzerland. Citizens of Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania need to live continuously 10 years.
