What country is Assam?

Assam is a state in northeast India, located in the mountainous area of northeast India, and adjacent to China, Tibet, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

The landscape of Assam includes hilly tea gardens, Yarlung Zangbo River, historical sites and temples. With mild climate and abundant rainfall, tea trees in Assam are all over the mountains, and Assam black tea is exported to the world.

Assam is another name of the Dai people, which was first recorded in the Western Regions of Datang, edited by China Xuanzang, and is called "Gamolobu Country".
