In 2004, the township party committee and government promptly accelerated the restructuring of collective enterprises and vigorously developed the individual and private economy based on actual conditions. The first is to break the existing enterprise management system and accelerate the establishment of a modern enterprise system. The second is to make full use of local resources, accelerate the development of enterprises, and fully exploit limestone, coal and other resources, so that enterprises can continuously expand their production scale and lay the foundation for increasing fiscal revenue.

In 2007, the township won the third prize for the county's advanced township in agricultural work. The township's grain production has remained stable and increased in the year of severe drought. The grain sowing area has reached more than 21,000 acres, with a total output of 11,000 tons. Oilseed production has been vigorously developed to cooperate with the construction of the city's "Baili Golden Flower Corridor", allowing farmers to plant rapeseed in winter. In terms of developing agricultural specialty industries, combined with the actual situation of our township, five key industries have been formed: Wen's broiler chicken, Zhengbang pig, Hengjiang grape, Taqiao flowers, and Zaoqiao Diaogua. Relying on Wen's Group, 22 new chicken households and 34 new chicken sheds were built in the township in 2007, covering an area of ??17,000 square meters. The momentum of chicken raising has been fully spread in our hometown. The Zaoqiao Diaogua Base established by merchants from Zhejiang has expanded its planting to more than 150 acres in 2007, and has achieved a one-stop service of production, supply and marketing, with an annual income of more than 800,000 yuan.
