There are also absolutely native words in Hong Kong: light bulb, fluorescent tube (light tube, electric ruler), bus (bus), lift, secure literariness (secure-China people don't like to pronounce polysyllabic words with more than three or four syllables, so they are omitted, and Hong Kong people are also from China). This local Chinese vocabulary and English vocabulary can only be understood and mastered through daily contact. It's useless to learn Cantonese only, because the so-called Cantonese you learned in the Mainland is still translated by thinking in Putonghua, and the vocabulary and grammar (word order and sentence structure) of Cantonese are different from the modern vernacular Chinese of Putonghua. So I still suggest that people who have the same needs as the landlord, the most direct and violent way is to go to Hong Kong for a while, which is better than how you study at home.
