The seesaw on the border between the United States and Mexico

Sang Lan Park in New Mexico, USA, is special because Mexico is next door with only a border wall in the middle. Under Trump's current policy of not welcoming immigrants from Central America, this seesaw painted in friendly pink needs the cooperation of residents of the two countries to enjoy it. This is the seesaw wall designed by designers Rael and Flatero in 2009. It is humorous and creative to explain that it is useless to build a side wall.

We obtained the conceptual etching of this work for MoMA's permanent collection in 20 16. @ themusemofmodernart @ seanify22ronaldrael wrote in his post: "One of the most incredible experiences in my career with @ vassff was to turn the concept map of the seesaw wall in 2009 into reality in a border wall activity full of joy, excitement and unity. The wall has become a practical fulcrum of the relationship between the United States and Mexico, and the children of both sides are connected with each other in a meaningful way because they realize that the actions taken by one side will have a direct impact on the other. Thank you very much to all the people who made this activity possible, such as Omar Rios @colectivo.chopeke, the guys of Taller Herrería in #CiudadJuarez, for their superb skills *** anship, @anateresafernandez's encouragement and support, and everyone on both sides. Including the beautiful family from Colonia Anapra, and @kerrydoyle20 10, @kateggreen, @ersela_kripa, @stphn_mllr, @wakawaffles, @ Chris _ ina # raelsanfratello # borderwallas architecture.
