The film Fairy Tales in Autumn is mainly about a pair of China people who live in new york, USA. Their love and hate entanglements. After breaking up with his first love, Li Qi, played by Cherie Chung, is still immersed in sadness and pain. In this case, she met the ruler of the bow played by Chow Yun Fat. Their lifestyles and ideas are different. Although both of them have a good impression on each other, they don't express their feelings. Later, Li Qi left this place. After many years, they ran around and finally broke through all obstacles and came together.

Wu Junru, Yam Tat-wah, Aarif Lee, Cai Yingen and others starred in The Thief of the Years.
