Categories, grades and scope of application of seafarers' certificates of competency:

(a) the certificate of competency is divided into four categories: A, B, C and D. ..

(3) Class B certificate is applicable to:

2.500-3000 gross tonnage ship captain, chief officer, second officer and third officer in the sea area near Hainan;

3, the ocean shipping area near the main propulsion power plant of 3000 kilowatts and above the ship's chief engineer, big tube wheel, second tube wheel and third tube wheel;

4. The chief engineer, chief engineer, chief engineer and chief engineer of 750-3000 kW main propulsion power plant ships near Hainan Island;

5.500 gross tonnage or more crew members on duty in the infinite navigation area;

(4) Class C certificate is applicable to:
