Hohhot will complete the transformation of urban villages and shanty towns within three years.

With the goal of capital planning and construction in 20 13 settled, the renovation of urban villages and shanty towns has also been included in this year's key construction projects. By the end of 20 15, all the renovation tasks of such projects have been completed, and 43 villages in the city have been renovated this year, with a total relocation area exceeding140,000 square meters.

Since the beginning of this year, the Hohhot municipal government has made unremitting efforts to transform the villages in the city. The reporter saw from the "Implementation Plan of Urban Planning and Construction Project in Hohhot for 20 13 Years" issued by the Hohhot Municipal Government that there are Tali Village, Sanhe Village, Haoqinying Village, Shaliang Village and Daizhouying Village in the new urban area; Huimin District includes Dongwusutu Village, Youyouban Village, Fuxiao Village, Qingshan Village, Changhanban Village, Yijiafang Village, Bakouzi Village, Kongjiaying Village, Tabuban Village, Shilamen Village, Ruobulang Village, Daodaoban Village and Xilongwangmiao Village; Yuquan District has Wuliying Village, Nanbalizhuang Village, Gouziban Village, Xiaoheihe Village, Fanjiaying Village, NanZi Ying Village, Xinxinban Village, dongyuan village Village and Xiyuan Village; Saihan District has East Lamaying Village, Baoquanzhuang Village, Xibazha Village, West Lamaying Village, Zheng Lamaying Village, Shuaijiaying Village, East Heihe Village and Shuangshu Village.

According to the implementation plan of 20 13 Hohhot urban planning and construction project, eight villages in three districts will be added to the capital city village reconstruction this year, namely Dongpengzi Village, Yuanshanzi Village and West wusutu Village in Huimin District; Yuquan District West Erdaohe Village, East Erdaohe Village, Tan Jian Village and Dakulun Village; West Gu Lou Village, Saihan District.

It is understood that Hohhot promoted the transformation and relocation of villages in the city last year, exceeding the transformation tasks assigned by the autonomous region.
