Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Law of China Municipality on the Administration of Exit and Entry of Citizens Article 3 A citizen living in China who leaves the country for personal reasons shall apply to the exit and entry administration department of the municipal or county public security bureau where his/her household registration is located, accept relevant inquiries and go through the following procedures:

(1) Submit the household registration book or other household registration certificates;

(2) fill in the exit application form;

(three) submit the opinions of the work unit on the applicant's exit;
