How to change your passport in the United States?

Chinese nationals in the United States whose passport has expired should go to the Chinese consulates and embassies in New York, Houston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington. They need to go to the nearest consulate in person to change it.

1. Need to provide:

1. Original and photocopy of passport (copy of data page with photo, extension page where extension has been applied for, exit stamp from China) Ending stamp page and U.S. visa and U.S. entry stamp page);

2. Proof of current U.S. residence status. If you have a green card or work card, please provide the original and copy of the green card or work card. 2. How to apply for the certificate

I must submit the application in person at the museum. I cannot apply by mail or entrust others to apply on my behalf. 3. Time and fee for applying for the certificate
