Number of immigrants from Japan and South Korea
It is indeed your right to choose a car in the free market, but can individuals think independently from the group?
It's hard, at least most people can't do it.
How are groups formed?
Is nothing more than * * * with the acceptance of the cultural system slowly forming.
So it seems that choosing a car or brand is the result of your own subjective thinking, but it is actually just the result of an idea; It's just that there are many cars in the huge China automobile market, and these cars will basically be accommodated. However, there are still many people who think that users in European and American markets are the most tolerant, because they will choose any brand of car without any influence; However, this is a complete lie. The most tolerant is the users in China automobile market, and they have obvious rejection of brand culture in Europe, America, Japan and South Korea.
The United States is considered as the freest market, but do you know how much European cars are excluded from the American market?
There are only two kinds of popular cars in America. The first category is three local brands, Ford, GM and Chrysler, focusing on the middle and high end; The second category is Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai and Kia, from Japan and South Korea. Most of these brands have low vehicle positioning, targeting American families and individuals with low or negative assets.
There is no mid-level car with clear positioning in the United States, but the positioning of European cars is similar to that of American mid-level cars.
For example, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi all seem to be luxury brands, but many brands under GM or Chrysler are quite well positioned. In theory, mid-range cars should have a large market share, but all European cars add up to only a small part.
Why are European cars not popular in America?
It is very simple, because the European automobile industry powers are mainly Britain, Germany and France, and the British automobile industry has already declined, and major brands have been acquired by German automobile companies or automobile companies in other countries; At present, Germany and France are dominant, but the cultural opposition between Germany and the United States has lasted for hundreds of years. At the beginning of the last century, German schools were once banned in the United States, and the mainstream society rejected Germans so much that they were beaten when they saw Germans in the street ... This phenomenon was later eased, but it was still exclusive. Therefore, choosing a German car in the United States is often rejected by the mainstream or regarded as "un-American".
French cars don't work in America. The reason is not only that the model is small, but that the mainstream American society has never looked up to France. If you are familiar with the history after Normandy landing, you must know what American soldiers did in France. Many American TV programs often show unreserved ridicule or sarcasm to the French, which appears many times in The Simpsons. The United States' rejection of Germany has the problem of immigration in the early stage, and the problem of moustache in the later stage, while its contempt for France is because it surrenders when it comes to it.
As a result, PSA Peugeot Citroen left the American market as early as 9 1, and there were few cars from Volkswagen, Durham Ben Ci and Bavarian Engine Factory in the United States. Do you still think users in the American market are tolerant? If you must take the American auto market as a benchmark, you have to talk about culture when talking about cars, unless you have no culture.
America rejects European cars, but do Europe like American cars?
Obviously impossible.
American General Motors tried many brands in Europe, almost all of which ended in failure, including Opel, a European-oriented brand, which was almost cold. Ford's performance in the European market is not ideal, and many factories in Europe have laid off employees and reduced production.
Chrysler has long been acquired by Italy's Fiat Company, but Chrysler's Dodge and Jeep still focus on the American market.
Many people who have been to Europe have a special feeling that European cars are generally small, and American muscle cars are rarely seen mainly in western Europe where the automobile industry is developed; The reason for this phenomenon has also been hotly discussed in many European countries' automobile forums, and most people's views are still the rejection of muscle car culture. The reason why the United States advocates muscle cars is that the land is vast and the population is sparse, and the public transportation facilities are poor. People need a car for commuting and transportation. Europeans don't think this kind of muscle car is equal to rough and heroic, but a symbol of backwardness.
Don't think that some Europeans are joking when they say that the United States is backward. In fact, many Europeans have this view.
Moreover, most Europeans think that the United States has no culture and history, which is objectively true. After all, America is a very young country. But young countries don't have to be despised, as long as they develop fast enough and are strong enough. However, western Europeans basically don't think so, because the United States is actually a country with European immigrants, and these so-called immigrants were basically bandits and prisoners in the early days. Up to now, many Europeans regard Americans as "barbarians", and the roughness made in the United States also has a backward and barbaric image in their eyes.
Is it uneducated for users to choose cars in the European market?
If it were so objective, the automobile industries in Germany and France would have been replaced by the three American automobile giants.
European countries exclude not only the United States, but also Japan; Japan has always been like "leaving Asia and entering Europe", but it has never been accepted, and even western European countries refuse to join GATT. There are two reasons: worrying about the influence of Japanese labor-intensive industries' export, and the European cultural system's rejection of Japanese culture deeply influenced by China's Confucianism.
In fact, it is these Europeans who have been engaged in cultural opposition and even discrimination since ancient times. They look down on Mongols and look down on Americans without noble blood. Therefore, Japanese cars can only face the market at a low price in Europe, but because the geographical relationship between European countries and Japan is not as close as that of the United States, the market share of Japanese cars in Europe is far less than that of the United States.
The same is true of Korean automobile manufacturing.
Aren't Japanese and Korean auto market users exclusive?
That's nonsense. Japanese and Korean local brands have the highest market share, and the fundamental reason for this achievement is the top-down guidance from the cultural level.
So if you travel around the world, you will find that the users in China market are the most tolerant of culture and brand; However, most of these users are not tolerant of China automobile brands, which is worth pondering. At this stage, what autobots need to do most is to change this phenomenon from the cultural level, so car critics should not only regard themselves as commentators, but also have some cultural responsibilities.
