How to change careers as a chef

You are not advised to change careers blindly.

Like it doesn't necessarily mean you can do it. Cooking is still an art, and it takes a certain talent to be a good cook. If you want to learn any skill well, you need talent, diligence and perseverance besides interest and passion.

So, first of all, you need to know what is the key to your current problem. Why no passion? Is it the job itself (such as salary, job characteristics, leadership relationship, corporate atmosphere) or your own reasons (such as personality characteristics, ability structure, hobbies)? If it is the job itself, then changing jobs or enterprises will be a better choice. If it is your own fault, then knowing yourself is the key to solving the problem.

Only after fully understanding your personality, interests and abilities can you decide what to do next. Think carefully about whether the chef is a turning point in your life.

Don't change careers blindly until you know the key to the problem and yourself.
