Application materials:

Applicants should bring their household register, original ID card (temporary resident ID card can be submitted during the period of collecting, renewing, and replacing the resident ID card) and copies. ?

Applicants under the age of 16 must also be accompanied by their guardian and submit the guardian’s consent for leaving the country, the guardian’s resident ID card or household registration book, passport and copy; National staff registered with the entry-exit management department of the government must, in accordance with the personnel management authority, have their work unit or superior supervisory unit issue an opinion agreeing to handle the first application for a passport and stamp it with an official seal before they can apply.

(1) Travel: There is no need to submit a travel invoice issued by the Tourism Bureau.

Article 3: Mainland citizens traveling to Hong Kong and Macao for private matters can pass through designated ports with a pass to Hong Kong and Macao or a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao issued by the public security organs of our country; they can also pass through other ports open to the outside world when returning to the mainland.
