Can I get vaccinated when I apply for a tourist visa and go to the United States?

If you are just traveling, you do not need a vaccination certificate.

Vaccination certificates are generally required for studying in the United States, or immigrating.

Before going abroad, international students must apply for the "International Travel Health Examination Certificate" and "International Vaccination Certificate" at the local International Travel Health Care Center affiliated with the Chinese Inspection and Quarantine Agency. When leaving the country, you must present a health certificate to the Chinese inspection and quarantine authority before you can leave the country.

Immunization process

1. Basic process

Fill in the health examination application form → enter personal information → review → pay → fill in the vaccination application form → submit Vaccination application form → perform vaccination → receive the "International Certificate of Vaccination"

2. Precautions

① You should consult the local health center and arrange immunization according to your personal vaccination status Vaccination time.

② Vaccine recipients should not fast on the day, but they should not eat spicy food or do strenuous activities. If fever symptoms occur, vaccination should be postponed.

③ Fill in the vaccination application form truthfully and answer the questions of the inoculator carefully so that the doctor can screen for contraindications and cautions before vaccination.

1. Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR) vaccine

4. Tetanus-Diphtheria Vaccine (Td)

The initial vaccination of Td includes three injections: the first two injections are 4-8 weeks apart, and the third injection is completed after the second injection. The first injection is given 6-12 months later. A booster dose of injection (revaccination) should be carried out 10 years after the initial vaccination.
