Hongshishan Ecological Tourism Area is a national AAA-level scenic spot located in Dahebei Town, Lingyuan City. There are mainly original forest natural scenery, stone forest landscape and other special attractions.

The Hongshi Mountain Scenic Area has beautiful scenery. Experts praise it as a "treasury of native forest vegetation genes in western Liaoning". It has the largest catalpa forest in the Northeast, so it is praised as "jasper in the north and green pearl in western Liaoning". Spring flowers, summer green, autumn beauty and winter rhyme are the characteristics of the scenic spot, and the characteristics change obviously throughout the year. This is nature's natural oxygen bar. Although the climate changes throughout the seasons, it is pleasantly warm and cold.

The main peak of Hongshi Mountain is 1256.6 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in western Liaoning. The uncanny workmanship of nature has created the wonders of the stone forest in Hongshi Mountain. The rocks here are as red as blood and fire, and anthropomorphic imitations of strange peaks and rocks can be seen everywhere. Attractions such as the Prime Minister's Stone, the Russian Soldier, Laojun Stoker, Erlang Shen meditating, the old man collecting herbs, the Roaring Dog, and the Arc de Triomphe are all vividly displayed.

The ancient tombs of the Liao Dynasty, Shiyang Shihu, have gone through thousands of years of vicissitudes, and the stone carvings are still lifelike. Influenced by ancient civilization, the descendants of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Korean people have lived together and multiplied for a long time, forming a rich ethnic custom here. Remote rural farmhouses are filled with the aroma of traditional delicacies.
