Iii. Study visa process in Poland
1. Appointment of embassy visa:
First you have to determine the country. I suggest going to several countries to find out where the embassy is. You need to do your homework online first, because visas in some countries are not easy to handle (such as the slow speed of French people), and some countries will be very simple (such as the Netherlands). After determining which embassy to apply for a visa, find the embassy in official website and inquire about the visa reservation method. You can basically make an appointment by phone or online. If you make an appointment online, try to make an appointment in advance in popular countries, otherwise you won't be able to make an appointment. By the way, download the visa application form on the website and print it out.
2. Make a travel plan:
This is a necessary process, and the visa should also be written. When to enter which country, stay for a few days and when to leave. Especially which country applies for a Schengen visa. And the price of air tickets and train tickets.
3. Bank account opening certificate:
Go to the bank and make out your detailed bill of consumption. How much money you should have should be calculated according to the number of days you travel. There's no harm in saving more (please note that the bank won't give you a detailed list right away, it will take a week to send it, so be sure to arrange the time).
4. Proof of starting a school:
Every school is different. Some will apply for mailing to you online, and some will go directly to the student center on the same day. It is more appropriate to prepare in advance.
5, copy all kinds of information:
Fill in your application form Passport, insurance, bank certificate and student ID card are all copies, and the consulate accepts copies instead of originals.
6, go to the consulate to sign:
On the appointed date, take the prepared materials and hand them in to the consulate.
Four. Matters needing attention in handling visa for studying in Poland
1. There is enough time to prepare for applying for a visa.
In order to ensure a high visa rate, there must be at least half a year's rigorous preparation time to ensure the smooth passage of the visa;
2. Reliable and reasonable financial proof must be provided.
Report the family's economic situation realistically and honestly face the disrespect of the immigration agent. Only in this way can we make a detailed and true visa preparation plan, track the professional expenses in the process, and ensure that visa officers can carefully examine the financial resources of families studying abroad. In other words, applicants should have stable, reasonable and sufficient financial aid or sources to prove that they have the ability to pay for studying in Poland.
3. Pay attention to the validity of the visa
Generally, China students will get a D visa, which is valid for about 180 days. Before applying for a residence permit, if you want to travel abroad, you must apply for a visa at the embassy of the destination country. Sometimes the undertaker is rejected because he is not familiar with laws and regulations. Some foreign students ventured across the border and were detained by border guards, making it difficult to re-enter the country.
The border inspection department reminded that the new law clearly stipulates that personnel from non-Schengen countries, those who enter the country with valid long-term residence visas from Schengen member countries, and other Schengen area personnel can travel for three months free of charge within a few months, and the validity period is the same as the residence permit. However, before the expiration of the first-class visa for international students, they still need to apply for a residence permit. When the D visa expires, don't leave the country until you get a residence permit.
