You need to apply for a student visa two to three months in advance. I suggest you apply in advance, so that you can handle all kinds of materials calmly and book cheap air tickets. I applied for a short-term student visa for four months. But there's a set meal that says four months at the most. If an extension is needed, it needs to be renewed in Portugal. Next, I will divide it into three parts: visa materials preparation, signing the bill and waiting for the result.

I. Visa preparation

7. The insured amount of 300,000 yuan or more is medical insurance. If the embassy detention stamp or visa stamp is provided, the actual stay time in Schengen area must be covered. If you stay for one year or more, you must purchase one-year insurance.

8. Original household registration book and copies of all pages with contents and translated pages in English or Portuguese (self-translation, only providing main information).

Note: Do not copy the cover of the notarial certificate. There is information on both sides of the last page. Please copy it on two pages. The copy must be clear.

1: Application Form: If you can't find a three-page application form online, please get one from the embassy and make multiple copies to prevent mistakes. I used two pages online and filled them in many times. Later, when I came to the embassy, my brother said that I wanted to change it, so I filled out a copy on the spot. This is time-consuming. You can try to ask your little brother in the embassy to send you an electronic version. Regarding which item should be filled in the form, you can leave a message for individual consultation later.

3. The admission ticket needs to be mailed by the school. As long as you communicate well with the school, there will be no big problem. It takes three weeks for the mail to arrive. You can prepare other materials while waiting for the notice.

4. Personal deposit certificate: This is confusing and there are different opinions. I have checked the information, and there are at least 60,000 to 70,000, and the most is the projects that have been suggested for more than one year, with a regular amount of 65,438+10,000. Freeze for three months. Then give the original to the embassy. All major banks can issue certificates, with a handling fee of 20. Some people suggest going to big banks such as Bank of China. Personally, I think any bank will do, so I use a small bank. It can be done in half an hour without an appointment.

5. Ticket reservation form: Call Ctrip to make a reservation when the delivery is near, stating that an English reservation form is needed, and just print it out. Remember: this is a pre-order, no payment is required, not the final travel route. If you are not sure, you can book Lufthansa and book the kind of ticket that they will refund if they refuse to sign.

6. Hotel: Book booking.com Hotel. Not less than 7 days. You can unsubscribe, and the refund of the deposit is certain. Every hotel has a refund condition, so you need to look carefully. Just order it and print it out.

7. Insurance: After the study date is determined, purchase insurance according to the study period. Ping An Bank's overseas travel insurance can be insured in Europe. The price depends on the length of time you buy it. After the purchase, I will send you the invoice and insurance policy in about two days. Just pay the embassy visa.

8. Translate the household registration book by yourself, then print it out and hand it in with the original.
