The relationship between British Home Office, Immigration Bureau and Embassy

The Ministry of the Interior is equivalent to the Internal Security Bureau (Ministry of Public Security), the Immigration Bureau is equivalent to the Internal Exit-Entry Administration and the Customs, and the Embassy is an overseas institution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The embassy accepts visa applications, but the immigration application is submitted to the Immigration Bureau for approval after it is accepted by the embassy, and the Ministry of the Interior cooperates with the investigation. Basically, crimes committed by foreigners in China are investigated by the Ministry of the Interior.
