Do I need a resume to apply for a B2 visa in the United States?

There are roughly two situations in applying for a B 1/B2 (tourist/business) visa in the United States, and it is necessary to prepare a resume (not absolutely, depending on the visa officer's understanding of personal background).

The first type: the identity is a student, if the major belongs to the following sensitive majors; Or have worked, but have obtained the following professional degrees, or engaged in the following sensitive professional work.

Military technology, nuclear technology, rockets and drones, electronic navigation, remote sensing imaging, chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, biochemical engineering, advanced computers, microelectronics.

The second type: going to the United States for meetings, business trips or exhibitions. If companies related to the above fields have exchange activities, they need to provide their resumes and information of the other company.
