At present, the research projects include: 200,000 yuan for the cooperation project of provincial universities: "TOT project application research of highway construction and development in Yunnan", and 880,000 yuan for the project of Asian Development Bank: "Post-evaluation research of highway development project in western Yunnan".

Main scientific research achievements: in February 2004, he won the "second prize of Hongyun's excellent thesis of Yunnan Association for Science and Technology" and the "third prize of outstanding achievements of Yunnan Social Sciences" in February 2004. In February 2007, he was awarded the leader of teaching and scientific research in Yunnan Province, and in February 2008, he was awarded the "Third Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in Yunnan Province".

Main research directions:

Project management direction, because Professor Wang realized that Yunnan is located in the Greater Mekong Subregion, he wisely chose to develop in the direction of project management.
