Why are some people in Northeast China unwilling to have children?

I'm from Heilongjiang, and I talked to my parents about this problem yesterday. I asked my parents, how did you change your mind and resolutely obey the family planning policy? You know, in the 1960s, they all grew up in a family with many children and brothers and sisters, so it must be a little hard to accept that they suddenly only want one.

My mother said that the family planning policy was actually allowed in those years. At first, everyone could not accept it, but there was no way to do it. At that time, the policy was particularly strict. If there is a super life, you will be severely punished. If you have a job, you will be laid off, and if you don't, you will be fined.

Northeast China is an old industrial base. When family planning was first implemented, it was still a very powerful area, no less than the Yangtze River Delta now. Because there are many factories and enterprises, everyone has a lot of work. There are many children, so there is definitely no job. At that time, there was no other way to get money. If they lose their jobs, the whole family can't live. Therefore, people who had jobs at that time did not dare to be super-born, for fear of unemployment.

In addition, the amount of fines is particularly large, which is almost unbearable for most families. Paying a fine is equivalent to not being able to support children, and life will be particularly difficult. For practical reasons, the northeast people at that time also wanted to open up. If you are not born, you will not be born, and the concept of good training has become popular.

Northeastern people are reluctant to have children, in fact, from a very young age. Because the northeast is a land of immigrants, many people immigrated from other places. Take my home as an example. My hometown is in Shandong, and I moved to the northeast after the founding of the People's Republic of China. There is no other reason to move to the northeast, that is, my hometown is too poor to find a way out.

When my grandparents first came to the northeast, they actually brought many exquisite things from Shandong, such as separate tables for men and women. Then they just gave up, my dad recalled. At that time, my grandfather said that everyone was so poor that they would eat together if they had food, and all men, women and children would share it.

Because of living in a different place, the living habits and customs of many hometown have changed, and their thoughts have also changed greatly. Northeasters have moved away from their hometown because most of them dare to fight hard, their thoughts change quickly and they can adapt to the new environment quickly. Adapting to family planning is the same, and there is nothing difficult to accept. After all, these people have overcome the old idea that it is difficult to leave their homeland.

After more than 30 years of ideological transformation, Northeast China became the best place to carry out family planning in that year. But the following problem also exists naked, that is, the birth rate in the three northeastern provinces is at the bottom every year, which is basically out of control. According to statistics, if the development continues at this rate, 100 years and less than 200 years, no newborn will be born in Northeast China.

Nowadays, people in Northeast China don't like to have children, which has a lot to do with the backward economic environment in Northeast China. Young people can't earn more money, so naturally they don't want to have more children to increase the financial burden of their families. Moreover, the new generation in Northeast China are basically only children, and they have long been used to this family state, but many children are not used to it.

Any problem is formed for a reason, and it can't be solved overnight, and it can't be solved overnight. The implementation of the family planning policy in Northeast China has gone through almost three generations. Now, if we want to open the policy to encourage more children, three generations may not be enough, and it may take longer.

In response to the national policy, my two aunts retired in Heilongjiang Forest Farm. In their generation, there were at least three children, but when their children talked about marriage, they started strict family planning. A couple gave birth to a child. My cousins have one in every family, but no one has a second child. Now that I'm a grandchild, I'm still one, and I don't want to raise another one. My friends in the northeast have all given birth to one, and they may all want to get through it!

Not unwilling to have children, but unwilling to have more. In the northeast, children are not born and raised, but raised. After graduating from junior high school, most children continue to study in high school and university, and there are also many graduate students and doctoral students who have finished university. Education investment accounts for almost half of a family's expenditure, and there are various interest classes. Children should at least have special skills, such as speaking eloquence, artistic dance, singing instruments, painting piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, roller skating, table tennis and various sports. If children don't study, they will fall behind, no one is young. Unless you make up your mind to go out to work after nine years of compulsory education, that kind of family is so keen on having children that you can even leave it to Dabao to look after the children. Dabao will look at Erbao, and Erbao will look at Sanbao when he grows up. Such families are rare. Many of them are family planning refugees who come here to give birth to their sons. Even if they have a mouth to eat, they will live. When a daughter gets married, she will say that life is hard and she will never have a good life. The children didn't suffer any pain.

As a non-Northeastern who has been in the Northeast for nearly 10 years, from the outside, I think there are at least four reasons:

The first is the continuation of traditional ideas. I come from Henan. Basically, every family born in rural areas after 1980s has two or three children, so most children born after 1980s want both, usually two, unless two daughters or two sons will consider having another child. The northeast is different. Most of the post-80s generation are only children, both men and women. They are very adapted to the living environment of only children, and most of them have one child. In fact, people who are unwilling to have children are not limited to the northeast, and the whole country is similar. So this question is actually not appropriate.

Second, economic pressure. The post-80s and post-90s in Northeast China basically lived a relatively affluent life in their youth. At that time, the northeast economy was still good. For example, in Daqing Oilfield, including other mining areas and heavy industry bases, their parents have lived a well-off life and their children have better living conditions. However, in recent years, the resources of old industrial bases have been exploited, and the economy has not continued. The post-80s and post-90s are even more difficult to struggle. They have relatively superior living habits, which increases the family burden. Especially in some places in the northeast, houses are cheaper by tens of dollars per square meter.

The third is the current new concept impact. In the past, the older generation also considered the issue of providing for the elderly when giving birth to children. There are nursing homes now, and children are not needed. Many young people's consumption concept is to earn as much as possible and spend as much as possible, just live their own lives. So many young people are not only unwilling to have children, but also unwilling to have children when they get married.

Fourth, I imagined it from other people's experiences. Some young mothers communicate with others about having children, and come to the conclusion that giving birth will be very painful. What will happen to the body after giving birth may affect the body and the whole system for life. In addition, some young people in modern times care so much about this that they choose not to have children. There are also some young people who choose to adopt children to solve the pain caused by giving birth.

In short, there is nothing wrong with having children. Don't blame today's young people, they have their cognition and the external pressure they feel. All existing phenomena have their rationality. Just live a good life for yourself and the present.

Northeasters are the most obedient, because there are many enterprises, and whoever has a second child may lose his job. In addition, as an immigrant area, Northeast China has a relatively thin historical and cultural accumulation, and the concept of son preference is not strong, so giving birth to a child requires intensive care. From small to large, the cost of various cram schools and extracurricular classes is naturally higher. When I was studying in the south, I found that my classmates were only children except Northeast China, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Wuhan and Nanjing. Students from other places have brothers and sisters, such as Guangdong, Fujian, Anhui, Henan, Guangxi, Guizhou and Shaanxi, with 4-5 brothers and sisters. Walking out of the northeast, I found that there was only one child in the northeast. Because there are few children, the population structure is 4: 2: 1, and the northeast faces the feeling that there is no successor, while places with many children are generally energetic. Now think about it.

Most of the reasons are because the economy is not good, because the northeast is the hardest hit area for remedial classes. Raising a child requires a lot of money, with high cost and small return. High price! This is a small county belonging to five small cities. The price of a new building is 6500 yuan. There are no more than three factories in our county, and they are all small factories with less than 100 people. Many of our men go abroad and can't make money at home. My husband also goes out to earn money. I take care of the children at home. Although the distance is not far, it is also a long-term place. Our family gave birth to a girl, which is related to economic conditions, but not the main reason. Our family's conditions are average. My mother-in-law said that giving birth to a second child would give 500 thousand cash subsidies, but my husband and I were unmoved. Maybe we brought up the children ourselves, and we were very tired and didn't want to do it again. Moreover, we feel that the world is not so beautiful and there is no need for regeneration. But I think if there are tens of millions, our ideas will be different. Anyway, we don't have that much money, so it's no use letting go of life.

This is a common problem in the whole country, because young people are under great pressure in their own lives, and it will only be more difficult to raise a doll. Therefore, people nowadays generally choose to have children when economic conditions permit.

It used to be forbidden to have children, but now you can't raise more children. You can't have more children when you have the ability, but you can have more children when you can't afford it now.

I'm from the northeast, please forgive me for what I said. Because the northeast is a heavy industry base, there are many state-owned enterprises. Family planning was particularly well carried out that year, because the super-born children were fired from their jobs. At present, people of childbearing age are basically only children. They have no brothers or sisters since childhood, and all their parents' love has been given to them. Most of them are spoiled and have special personalities. Now it is a question of property prices. Under the old system, all units were divided into houses, and large units included primary schools, middle schools and technical schools, which saved a lot of expenses. Now, if you are an office worker, you can't afford to buy a house all your life, and you need the guarantee of a public institution to buy a house. This is normal. Finally, the intermediary company settled with 5000 yuan. If you have a son, it is a building. If you have two sons, the average family can't afford it. Now it's a matter of making up lessons. More and more children make up lessons every year. Children in the northeast are basically making up classes. I have been to a place in the south. Every weekend, children don't. School teachers mainly answer questions, which cost several hundred yuan a semester. Parents don't have to pick up their children all over the world to make up lessons, which saves trouble, money and time. However, the average child in Northeast China can't get down without tens of thousands a year. There are tens of thousands of children for one child, and the tuition fees for two children are generally unaffordable for families. Wages in the northeast are also extremely low, basically three or four thousand for men and two or three thousand for women. If there is no good unit to pay social security by itself, a person will be more than 10 thousand a year, which will be more than 20 thousand I think the birth rate in Northeast China would have been reduced by half if the pensions of the older generation had not been supplemented to support the family.

Don't we implement the national policy ... no more children, then have one. Having a second child is not compulsory, and I am used to it, so I won't have it. ...
