I. Cities
The word city is city. There are three kinds of cities in China.
1. The municipality directly under the Central Government is a first-level (provincial) administrative region.
2. Ordinary prefecture-level cities and sub-provincial cities are secondary (prefecture-level) administrative regions.
3. The third (county) administrative region of a county-level city.
Second, the county seat
The English word for county is county. Modern counties are subordinate to provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and autonomous prefectures.
Third, the township

The word "province" is: province.
Province refers to the names of People's Republic of China (PRC) and local administrative regions at the national level. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the local administrative units at the national level were once large administrative regions, and after many changes, they basically remained at 1965.
Tianjin was founded in 1967, Hainan was founded in 1988, Chongqing was founded in 1997, and Hong Kong and Macao were recovered in the same year. At present, there are 34 provincial administrative regions in China.

The word for autonomous region is: autonomous region.
Autonomous region is an administrative division. In China, it is equivalent to a provincial administrative unit. Compared with ordinary provinces, their local governments will have more independent space in internal affairs than other administrative regions at the same level.
