I. Procedures for handling passports:

(1) Submit a valid passport.

Second, the materials needed to apply for a passport:

Three. Requirements for handling passports:

1. 2. To prepare for going abroad to visit relatives, friends, travel, study abroad, settle down, find employment or engage in business and other non-official activities, you need to apply for an Ordinary Passport of the People's Republic of China and receive an Application Form for China Citizens to Exit and Entry for Private Purposes. The places where the forms are collected are the police station where the household registration is located, the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau (county) and the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shenyang Public Security Bureau.

5. Passport processing time: Passport will be issued within 0/5 days from the date of receiving the application materials. Article 7 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China

The registration items of ordinary passport include: passport name, gender, date of birth, place of birth, date of issue, period of validity, place of issue and issuing authority.

The validity period of ordinary passports is: five years for passport holders under the age of 16 and ten years for those over the age of 16.

The specific measures for issuing ordinary passports shall be formulated by the Ministry of Public Security.

Article 11

Passport holders applying for renewal or replacement of ordinary passports shall submit their applications to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where their household registration is located; In foreign countries, I will submit it to the people of China, China's embassies and consulates abroad or other overseas institutions entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After returning to China, China citizens who have settled abroad apply for renewal or replacement of ordinary passports, which shall be submitted by themselves to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level.

The renewal or replacement of diplomatic passports and official passports shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
