Baigongguan, located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, was originally the villa of Sichuan warlords. 1939, the Military Bureau transformed it into a detention center for political prisoners. More than a dozen houses on the first floor and the first floor were turned into cells, and the underground storage room was turned into a dungeon. 1943, China-US Institute of Special Technical Cooperation was established. As the third guest house of the China-US Cooperation Institute, the detainees were transferred to the nearby dregs cave. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Bai Mansion was regarded as a special detention center. /kloc-in the spring of 0/947, the "criminal" in Zhazidong moved back to Bai Mansion for detention. Anti-Japanese patriotic general Huang Xiansheng, president of Tongji University and "Little Radish Head" were all imprisoned here.

The scum hole is smaller than I expected, and the interrogation room inside is deliberately facing the cell. When revolutionaries are tortured, they will make others feel the same. At the same time, those instructions on the wall are a means to soften the will of revolutionaries. At the beginning, many revolutionaries were imprisoned here and suffered physical and mental destruction every day. I walked through the prison gate and imagined the life of the martyrs. What can support them is the desire for victory and the existence of faith. Bypassing the dregs hole, we saw this small courtyard with high walls, which is hard to find among the mountains and green trees. A beautiful place, a place of leisure and enjoyment, hides a "prison" that is devoid of humanity. A series of lives were ruthlessly killed by the devil, which was terrible and shocked China and foreign countries. It is not easy for me to walk on this road step by step.

I stayed in Cihuakou Town for more than ten minutes to take photos, but the scenery was too far away to take my favorite photos. Seeing the town in the car has a strong commercial atmosphere, and the most attractive thing is the elderly who are comfortable playing cards. On the one hand, there is a strong sense of business, on the other hand, there is a carefree attitude towards life. The two complement each other and have their own advantages. To tell the truth, this is not the ancient town I am looking for. A real ancient town is not only an ancient building, but also the original ecological mentality and culture of people's lives. And with the change of society, this kind of situation is less and less.

Along Jialing River to Yangtze River, we go around Yuzhong Peninsula. The buildings on the island have their own forms, towering among the green trees and built on the mountain. The gap is huge and the road is winding, which is very thrilling. Buildings are reinforced concrete, and mountains are green trees and grasslands. The two are integrated and have unique charm. It suddenly occurred to me that there is a way of combining rigidity with flexibility in this architectural layout, that is, people live in harmony with nature, and build a new Chongqing with a dependent attitude, so that people can live in harmony with nature.

On the Yangtze River cableway, we began to see the scenery of the Yangtze River. The ropeway moves slowly, through the tall building, and then near the river, which is amazing. The river is turbulent and there are many historical events. How many people on both sides of the strait have been nurtured by this river? How many ups and downs does this river carry? How much wind and rain has this river witnessed? The tour guide said that there were tall buildings without elevators, and the old people climbed up and down, getting better and better. In the evening, I accepted the hospitality of my friends, ate a buffet near Jie Fangbei, watched the bustling night scene, returned to the hotel after ten o'clock, and fell asleep, thus ending the day. Whether it is the spectacular intersection of the two rivers or the awe-inspiring martyrs of Hongyan, I realize that this city is extraordinary.
