Nanwan Lake is a transitional climate zone from north subtropical zone to warm temperate zone, with transitional climate characteristics. Nanwan Reservoir connects Shihe River (the birthplace of Jigong Mountain and Wangsi Mountain), Wudao River (the birthplace of Lan Jian is the junction of Henan and Hubei on the north side of the pile), Dongjiahe River (the birthplace of Tianyunzhai East), Xiaosihe River (the birthplace of Tianyunzhai North) and Shafei River (the birthplace of Yingshan in Hubei).
