My current license is WP. Can I leave the country if I want to return to China?

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore, if a worker leaves Singapore and does not return to Singapore, then the permit must be cancelled (commonly known as "cutting permit"). If you don't apply for cancellation, after the license expires, the human resources department will cancel it by itself through theorem cleaning, but this will leave a bad record.

Generally speaking, leaving the country will not be a problem. But there is one exception, that is, if immigration officials have doubts (such as suspecting that workers are leaving the country abnormally), they will call their employers to ask about the situation. If the employer refuses to let the workers leave the country, they will be detained.
