Ancestors of Liang and Qin

There are several origins of Liang's family, the earliest of which is the ancestor of Liang in the Spring and Autumn Period.

The first monarch of Liang was Kang, Yan and Zhao. He was the second son of Qin Zhong, the monarch of Qin State at that time. Because of its neutrality in the Xirong War, it was sealed as a "land of Liang" by the King of Zhou, and Liang State was established. Known as "Liang Kangbo". Liang likes luxury and is keen on building large-scale buildings and magnificent palaces, which brings a heavy burden to the Chinese people. After the national subjugation, most of the descendants fled to the state of Jin, and "taking the country as their surname" became the Liang family. Later generations respected Boyi as their ancestor, and Liang as their ancestor. Liang Yier is Liang's great-grandson, who lives in Hedong (the county is located in Yuwangcheng, northwest of Xia County, Shanxi Province) and is the ancestor of Liang's family in Hedong.

Qin has four sources:

1. The food city of the descendants of Bo Yi, the monarch of Lu, is in Qin Yi (Fanxian County, Henan Province), so the duke of Lu is called Qin Wei.

2. After the demise of Qin, some survivors "took the country as their surname" and became another Qin family.

3. After the ethnic minorities moved to the Central Plains, they were renamed Qin.

4. The descendants of the people of the Great Qin State (Roman Empire) came to China, surnamed Qin Wei.

To sum up, Qin Jia, a descendant of Qin State, and Liang Jia, a descendant of Liang State, have a certain relationship. Both of them are from the state of Qin, which got the surname of Zhao, and the nearest ancestor is Qin Zhong, which can be regarded as the same clan. In terms of time, Qin appeared hundreds of years later than Liang.
