What is the visa application process in New Zealand?

Step 1: Prepare visa application.

China citizens who visit New Zealand as visitors and stay in New Zealand for no more than 12 months are required to fill in the following three forms:

1. China citizen short-term tourist visa application form (inz1188) pdf [420kb]

2. Supplementary Form for China Passengers (NZIS1027) PDF [162 KB]

3. Visit visa review list (stay no more than 6 months) PDF

After filling out the above forms and sorting out the supporting materials, you can submit your visa application. Immigration New Zealand recommends that you submit your application at least 20 days before the departure date.

Step 2: Submit visa application-fees and delivery methods.

There are two ways to submit a visa application:

The total fee for visiting visa includes visa application fee of 880 yuan, and the handling fee is 225 yuan. (If there is any change in visa fees, please refer to Immigration official website. )

Please note: If you want to mail your passport, you need to pay the postage in 50 yuan.

Delivery mode

According to your city area, choose the city to sign the contract. Please refer to the information published by Immigration New Zealand. The following are the addresses of New Zealand visa application centers in various regions:

Beijing New Zealand Visa Application Center

Address: Rooms J, K and L, 8th Floor, oriental ginza Office Building, No.48 Dongzhimenwai Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing (postal code: 100027).

Shanghai New Zealand Visa Application Center

Address: Floor 2, Jiushi Business Building, No.213, Sichuan Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai

Remarks: Shanghai New Zealand Visa Application Center was moved to Jiushi Business Building from June 1 20 15. Applicants who submit their applications on or after June 1 and get passports need to visit the new visa application center.

Guangzhou New Zealand Visa Application Center

Address: Room 905, 9th Floor, China Building, Times Square, No.28 Tianhe North Road, Guangzhou, 5 10620.

Hong kong new Zealand visa application center

Address: Room 14A, Xiangfeng Building, Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, 999077.

Step 3: Inquire about the application progress.

Once the visa is successfully issued, your application for a tourist visa will be processed as soon as possible.
