Brief Introduction of Fushoushan-Miluo River National Scenic Area
Fushou Mountain-Miluo River Scenic Area is located in Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, and consists of Fushou Mountain, Miluo River and Dufu Tomb, with a total area of about 160 square kilometers. On April 29th, 2006, it was approved as a national scenic spot by the State Council. In July, 2007, Yueyang Editorial Board formally approved the establishment of an administrative support organization: Fushoushan-Miluo River National Scenic Area Management Committee, which consists of an administrative affairs office, a planning and construction unit and a management and finance unit. In the same month, in order to strengthen the leadership of scenic spots more directly and effectively, the county party committee and government established the working committee of Fushoushan-Miluo River National Scenic Area in Pingjiang County. Fushou Mountain-Miluo River Scenic Area consists of two scenic spots, namely Fushou Mountain and Miluo River, and three scenic spots, namely site of the pingjiang uprising, Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi Revolutionary Memorial Hall and Dufu Tomb. The natural landscape of the scenic spot is rich and peculiar, and the humanistic landscape is profound, which has high cultural, scientific research and sightseeing value.
