Application process

1. Fill out the application form online.

Before making an appointment, you need to fill out an online application form. After completing the online form, print and sign the form. If you use the online payment service, you need to print the confirmation letter issued by Worldpay and bring it to the visa application center as proof of payment.

Note: All information filled in must be accurate and true. After completing the online application, you will receive an email containing the application number (i.e. "GWF Reference Number"). Please remember this number.

2. Make an appointment online.

After filling out the application form, you will enter the online reservation system. Select the visa center where you want to submit your application, and select the appointment date and visit time.

3. Visit the Visa Application Center.

Bring all materials including the printed application form, passport and passport photo. Applicants who do not choose to pay online should bring cash to pay the visa fee to the visa application center where the appointment is made.

Biological information is then collected, i.e. taking photos and scanning digital fingerprints. After paying the visa fee, you will receive a tracking ID number, which you can enter online to check the progress of your visa application. When you submit your visa application and biometric information to the Visa Application Center, you may be required to attend a brief interview. The interview is designed to understand your true purpose of coming to the UK. This type of interview is also called an integrity interview.

Note: Applicants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when registering biometric information. This does not include application center staff.

4. Receive a passport.

After the visa application is processed, you can choose to pick up your passport in person at the Visa Application Center, or pay an additional fee to get your passport back by express delivery.

(1): Current valid passport (if you have an old passport, please provide the original together).

(2): Marital status document. Married persons must provide a copy of their marriage certificate.

(4): Pay the corresponding visa application fee in cash. If you have paid online, bring the confirmation letter issued by Worldpay as proof of payment.

Provide the following 4 key documents to support the application. The documents include:

(1) An itinerary listing the hotels where you will stay during your trip. If you are arranging your itinerary through a travel agency, have it printed on the agency's letterhead. If no intermediary is used, the hotel where you are staying must be provided and the hotel booking confirmation must be attached.

Note: If you are staying with a friend or relative during your stay in the UK, you need to submit an invitation letter from the friend or relative. The letter should include the address of your friend or relative and the date of stay there. date. At the same time, you must also submit documents that can prove the British immigration status of your friend or relative (if you are a British citizen, you can submit a copy of the personal information page of your passport, and if you are a short-term resident, you can provide a copy of your British visa or biometric information card).

(2) Household register and translation. If it is a collective household registration, provide copies of the collective household registration homepage and personal page or the original household registration certificate.

(3) Proof of employment status (English version required):

a. If employed, an original letter of certification issued by the employer on company letterhead is required, which should include the applicant Position, salary, length of service, company contact details and company registration number.

b. If you are a self-employed person, you need to provide a copy of the business registration document.

c. If you are a student, you need to provide an original letter of certification on school letterhead from the school you attend, proving your attendance and details about your leave.

d. If you are not working, you need to provide documents from the travel sponsor or a letter explaining the source of travel funds.

(4) Proof of financial resources.

Bank statements that can show income and deposit information in the past 4 months or other independently verifiable documents that can prove financial status (such as passbooks, deposit certificates, self-employed individuals can provide business statements) . Applicants do not need to submit a deposit receipt.
