Wuyuan County, originally belonging to Huizhou, why is it now included in Jiangxi Province?

Wuyuan county, originally belonging to Huizhou government, was placed under the management of Shangrao, Jiangxi Province in modern times because of military management. However, the essence of Huizhou culture is still preserved here, and both folk culture and dialect are very close to Huangshan area, which has not been impacted and influenced by other places in Jiangxi.

Anhui Province is named after two cities in Anhui Province, Huizhou and Anqing. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in the early days of the People's Republic of China, this place was temporarily under the jurisdiction of Huizhou.

But later, because of military control, it was once again included in Jiangxi Province, and Huizhou was renamed Huangshan in order to develop tourism. This is also a very sad thing for people in Huizhou Cultural District. They think that the name Huizhou should be kept. Now Huizhou's tourism industry is developing rapidly. Hongcun, Xidi and Huizhou ancient villages have become the destinations of famous photographers, so Huizhou culture is not only representative now.
