1On June 27th, 977, Djibouti declared its independence and established a republic. Djibouti is located in the south of the throat of the Red Sea, bordering Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia, and facing the port of Aden in Yemen across the Red Sea.

The development of history

According to legend, after the 8th century, Arabs moved to the Gulf of Aden in the north of the Horn of Africa, while Somalis, Issa and Afar settled in Djibouti and engaged in nomadic activities. Arab immigrants mostly do business in the coastal areas, establish towns, spread Islam, and intermarry with local residents, forming a mixed society of Somali culture and Arab culture.

Before the colonial invasion, Djibouti was ruled by three sultans: Hausa, Tajura and Obock.

From 65438 to 0946, Kyrgyzstan became an overseas territory of France.

1967 was renamed as "French Afar and Issa Territory", which was granted de facto autonomy by the French government.
