Ryan's inspirational story

Ryan is an ordinary boy from an ordinary family in Canada. One day five years ago, the first-grade pupil listened to the teacher talk about the living conditions in Africa: children didn't have toys, didn't have enough food and medicine, many people couldn't even drink clean water, and thousands of people died because of drinking polluted water. Every penny we have can help them. A penny can buy a pencil, 60 cents can pay a child's medical expenses for two months, two dollars can buy a blanket and 70 dollars can help them dig a well. ...

Six-year-old Ryan Jr was deeply shocked, and donating a well for African children became his strong dream. His mother didn't give him the money directly like some of our parents, and she didn't always treat the money as a child. His mother asked him to earn money by himself besides his normal housework. My brother and younger brother went out to play. He sucked the carpet for two hours and earned two dollars. The whole family went to the movies, and he stayed at home to clean the glass and earned the second dollar; Help grandpa pick up pine cones; Help neighbors pick up branches after the snowstorm. ...

He persisted for four months and finally saved enough money from 70 yuan and handed it over to relevant international organizations.

But he was told that 70 yuan can only buy a water pump, and it costs 2,000 yuan to dig a well. Ryan's dream must continue. More than a year later, with the help of his family and friends, he managed to raise enough money to donate a well near Rouen Primary School in Uganda.

It's not over yet, because more people can't drink clean water. It has become Ryan's dream to save money to buy a drilling rig so as to dig more wells faster and let every African drink clean water. He insisted.

Five years later, this 6-year-old's dream has become a career involving hundreds of people. The Ryan Well Foundation has raised 750,000 Canadian dollars to build 30 wells for 8 African countries. This ordinary boy was also selected as one of the "Top Ten Young Heroes in North America", known as the "Soul of Canada", which influenced more and more people to love and help others.

I was deeply moved by this story. The caring boy realized his life value, but what I admire more is his mother. How powerful can a child be? Without the support of family and friends, his dream can't come true. Our children are pure angels, selfless and have countless strange dreams, but what makes their dreams disillusioned and disappear silently? Many parents complain that their children are ignorant, indifferent and selfish.

And the responsibility may be our parents themselves.

We have arranged the only way for our children with wishful thinking. Besides studying or studying, there are various remedial classes outside the classroom. Parents will spare no time and money to practice with their children, which is by no means easier than children. Learn English and dance. We don't want our children to do housework for fear that they will work hard and waste time. We educate our children to protect themselves and make them smart. It also taught him to be selfish and self-centered.

There are also some children who have some specialties, but they are silent because of their parents' quick success and instant benefit.

Children are as smart, as cute, as full of love and fantasy, but their parents are different. Parents can become smarter, which is the true love for their children.
