Tanghe River has convenient transportation and obvious location advantages. It is 50 kilometers away from Nanyang in the west, 273 kilometers away from Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, and 3 10 kilometers away from Wuhan, Hubei Province in the east.

Railway: Ningxi Railway (Nanjing to xi 'an) has a passenger and freight station in Tanghe, and there are daily direct trains to Xi 'an, Nanyang, Fuzhou, Shanghai, Ningbo and Chongqing.

Highway: G40 Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway (from Shanghai to xi 'an) and National Highway 3 12 (from Shanghai to Yining, Xinjiang) run through the county, while Provincial Highway S335 (Tangxi Line) and Provincial Highway 240 (Square Pipeline) run through the county.

Aviation: tanghe county is only half an hour's drive from Nanyang Jiang Ying Airport.

Water transportation: In 20 15, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the resumption of navigation of Tanghe River, and built two new docks, Tanghe County and Guotan, which can be used for navigation of 500-ton ships. The project is expected to start on 20 16.
