According to the agreement, the application scope of the Agreement between China and South Korea on Visa Waiver for Diplomats' Passports, which came into effect on August 20 13, will be extended to those who hold official passports of China and South Korea. Citizens of the two countries can enter the other country visa-free with diplomatic passports and valid official passports, and stay for up to 30 days.
The agreement came into effect 30 days after the two countries informed each other of the date of completing the relevant domestic procedures.
