Qingdao is an immigrant city, nothing authentic. This is the difference between those who come early and those who come late. The former site of Qingdao Village is east of today's trestle bridge, close to Tianhou Palace and the old city government. It is also a tourist attraction, but it has long lost its former appearance. When the Germans came, all the villagers here moved away. But the people who live here now are only later immigrants.
