Legal analysis: applicants who meet all the following conditions can apply: 1) aged over 18 but under 60 years old, parents who have settled in Hong Kong and Macao aged over 60 years old, and have no children in Hong Kong and Macao (referring to children who have no permanent resident status in Hong Kong and Macao or have been approved by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ to settle in Hong Kong and Macao) and need their care; 2) Under the age of 18 and need to rely on parents who have settled in Hong Kong or Macao; (3) Children of permanent residents of Hong Kong or Macao; 4) Children over 60 years old who have no children in the Mainland and need to take refuge in Hong Kong or Macao1children over 8 years old; 5) There are other special circumstances that need to settle in Hong Kong or Macao; 6) One of the husband and wife has settled in Hong Kong or Macao, or the children applying for moving with them are under the age of 18.
Legal basis: Article 9 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China. China citizens who have settled in foreign countries voluntarily become or acquire foreign nationality will automatically lose their China nationality.
